Hey “Threads”, There are ways you can help in Baton Rouge.
1st pray for the people of BR and specially pray for the churches to have great faith and God-strengthened backs.
2nd donate resources. I (Robert) like the SBC disaster relief (https://www.namb.net/send-relief/disaster-relief/) who will provide tons of water and food. You can also donate through Tapestry (https://www.egive-usa.com/account/login/), just label it “BR”and ask if it will go to Baton Rouge flood relief work. You can also help by buying resources for those working in the area. One church that I believe in is Living Hope Fellowship in Baton Rouge. They have put out the following wishlist for supplies they need in helping their members and neighbors. https://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/giftlist/QY0124ECZZ4G/ref=cm_go_nav_recip_gl?. Living Hope is a group of people who will use your resources well. Their address for shipping is BTW the address for shipping is Living Hope Fellowship, c/o Megan Kelly, 10114 S River Oaks Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70815, (225) 366–8443.
3rd, the Minnesota/Wisconsin Baptist Relief team will go down to BR to work. Consider being certified with SBC disaster-relief so you can help in the future.
