A tenebrae service is an ancient Christian worship gathering that helps worshipers reflect deeply on the sufferings and death of Christ for us and our salvation. “Tenebrae” means “darkness” or “shadow.” A tenebrae service uses candles, scripture, singing, and darkness to help us prepare for Easter. Each year is a moving experience.
We will hold our Tenebrae Gathering at 6 pm at the Rose House. There’s no nursery but we are not distracted by kid noises.
