Our Gatherings

Where & When Does Tapestry Gather?

Tapestry gathers together on Sunday mornings 10:30 – 11:45 am. You can usually find us on Sundays (we do special things every now and then at other announced locations) at The Rose House, 1140 Clark Street, Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

There are some Sundays when we don’t meet at The Rose House, but we will always put notice on the homepage of the website and our Facebook account when this happens to make sure that everyone knows we were are gathering. This is usually for baptism or some other special occasion.

What can I expect from Tapestry worship gatherings?

Hopefully something different.

Each week the Tapestry family comes together to worship. Our worship gatherings consist of folk worship music, people talking about their faith and the questions and struggles we all sometimes have, messages that come from our community, and ways for you be able to react to what has happened during the gathering. Sometimes we’ll watch a video while other times we’ll think and pray while music for thought is played. It is consistently different in its practice but consistently the same in its growth from within the community of Tapestry. This means that you’ll hear original songs, see original videos, and encounter other attempts by members of the Tapestry community to communicate their trust in JESUS.

It’s all pretty laid back and you can participate in as much or as little as you want.

This happens on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:45 am at The Rose House (1140 Clark Street)

What should I wear to Tapestry?

Clothes! You must wear clothes to everything that Tapestry does. We’re pretty strict about that.

What type of clothes you wear are completely up to you. We are all pretty casual in our clothing selections. Yet truthfully, as long as you are wearing clothes, casual or formal, you’ll get along fine.
