It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
Jesus sets free those who trust in Him as Lord. That is one of the reasons the message of His kingdom is “good news” (i.e. gospel). Yet so often followers of Christ are tempted to give up that freedom for a law that can’t bring peace (wholeness) to life. Paul’s letter to the churches of Galatia is a call to remain in Christ’s freedom. February through April Tapestry is considering the letter to the Galatians and what it means to us as modern followers of Christ.
