As a nomadic church (a church without a building) once a year we have to deal with the fact that Washington Elementary School needs to refinish their gym floor. As a church we like to focus on the opportunities that such issues present. Therefore, when we first had to deal with this we started a picnic in the park and have continued to do so. This Sunday, once again, Washington will be refinishing its floors. Therefore, we will be at Iverson Park (at the Pavilion) this Sunday, August 3rd, at 10:30 a.m.
The church (the organization) will provide the main course and the church (the people) will be bringing something else to share. We call this a potluck. We will also hold a baptism. If you need to be baptized please contact Robert.
